๐Ÿ˜ฐ "But I Have Never Typed Fast Enough — What Should I Do?"

This is the most common worry we hear from our students — and it is completely understandable!

Here is the truth — you do NOT need to be a fast typist to pass IELTS computer-based.

IELTS examiners mark your English content — not your typing speed. Even if you type slowly, as long as you finish your essay with good English, you will score well.

However — here are 3 things you SHOULD practise before your test:

Practice 1 — Basic Keyboard Typing

You don't need to type 100 words per minute. But you should be comfortable typing without looking at the keyboard. Practise for at least 15 minutes every day using free tools like typing.com or keybr.com.

Practice 2 — Typing Full IELTS Essays

Don't just handwrite your practice essays — type them on a computer from now on. Time yourself. Aim to type at least 250 words in 40 minutes comfortably.

Practice 3 — Use the Official IELTS Computer Demonstration

IELTS official website has a FREE computer-based test demo. Try it before your real test so the interface doesn't feel new on exam day. Visit: www.ielts.org and look for "Computer-delivered IELTS demo."

๐Ÿ“… How to Book Your Computer-Based IELTS in UAE — Step by Step

  7. On test day — bring your original passport (no other ID accepted!)
