Twelfth Man is one of the latest movies starring Malayalam actor Mohanlal. After the mega blockbuster films Drishyam and Drishyam 2, this is another Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph team up. Written by newcomer KR Krishnakumar, the film is being directed by Jeethu Joseph. Jeethu Joseph says that the film is a mystery thriller and that Lalettan has portrayed a character that he has not done in his recent career. Jeethu Joseph tells the audience that Twelfth Man is a completely different film from the Drishyam series and therefore the film should not be compared to the Drishyam. He said it was not a hero based movie and all 12 of them were heroes.
He added that the film tells the story in a similar way to the Agatha Christie stories, with a highlight of suspense. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. The movie has been streaming live on Disney Plus Hot Star since last night. Unni Mukundan, Saiju Kurup, Sivada, Anushree, Priyanka Nair, Anu Sithara, Leona Lishoi, Rahul Madhav, Aditi Ravi, Anu Mohan, Chandu Nath, Nandu and Pradeep Chandran are the other characters in the film. The film was shot by Satish Kurup, edited by VS Vinayak and composed by Anil Johnson.
