Hi friends
I had written some sample answers for you a few days ago, have you had a chance to check them out? If not, kindly visit the blog pages and try to practice with me. Let's crack IELTS together!!!
In the meanwhile, I wanted us to discuss 3 BIG problems other test takers asked me about - that our practice tests have easy fixes for!
Problem #1
Some people are good at Listening and handle different accents easily, but for others Listening can be frustrating, because some accents are really hard to understand. As far as I'm concerned, I always faced this problem since I wasn't aware of the accents. In the real IELTS listening tests they have British, Canadian, American, Australian, New Zealand speakers, etc. What happens if you can't understand a particular accent?
Here's the solution:
It is better to include transcripts with all Listening tests, so that you can stop the recording when you don't understand a word or a phrase, go to the transcript and read that word, and then listen to it again. That's really good for improving your listening skills.
Problem #2
It's a very common situation: you've done a Reading test and some of your answers are different from the correct ones in the book. But why are these answers correct and yours are wrong? It's just you and the book, there's no one to ask!
What's the solution:
This is the time you need one expert option! Especially tell you trainer to help you with changing your approach, however it is not supposed to be more. After grasping the basic idea, you can leave the classes and practice alone.
Problem #03
In most the mock tests, we get below 6 bands even if we speak fluently. What could be the reason? How to improve and where to improve?
The solution:
The significant factor is natural and genuine reply. Especially we have to concentrate on facial expressions as well. The thing is, it's not about what do you say but how do you say it. Yes! Most of the candidates have a misconception that they have to give the right answer, but surprisingly there are no right answers or wrong answers in speaking. Fir example, for the question "Do you use headphones?" We can reply yes/no/often. Both are correct answers. So remember, it's not about what do you say but how do you say it.
