A Brilliant Director with a Fantastic Script Portrayed by an Excellent Actor? | Kooman Review | English Guru

Kooman Movie Review
Language:- Malayalam

Jeethu Joseph's films have been experienced as two extremes. One is that it is thoroughly engaging and thrilling enough to sit there. But this time, the second thing did not happen. Kooman was very engaging from start to finish and didn't feel any lag at all. Anything to say about the story of a thriller movie will be a spoiler so I won't go into it

I personally like vulnerable protagonists a lot, there is no cinematic superhumanity but Jeethu has adopted the method of well establishing and developing the skill found in many, be it in memories or in the scene, that is Giri in Kooman. The role of a common man or a simple police constable who traverses many emotional levels at the same time was safe in Asif's hands. Jafar Idukki's Maniyan was the one that stood out from the handling of the other characters. Personally I liked the second half more than the first half

The first and foremost factor which attarcted me towards this film is its title 'KOOMAN'. I think no directors in recent times have titled their film with ssuch a suitable name. The writer of movie '12th Man' made a doubt in me before watching the film however, the director's name gave me a promise and that led me to watch this film. It was a nice decision made by me just like I decided to go for 'KANTARA' which still gives me goosebumps.

I don't want to tell you the story. But let me tell you the reason why I started thinking about what twist Jeethu is going to give and who will be the culprit may be the reason why the climax was prettick but that didn't affect the enjoyment of the movie. Overall, Kooman can be considered as a great comeback for actor Asif Ali

Verdict:- Above Average/Satisfied
