PART – 1 INTRO

What is your full name?

I'm Kaka Raka.

How may I address you?

Just call me Kaka.

May I see your ID?

Certainly, here you go.

Do you live in a busy area?

Yes, my apartment is close to a shopping center, so there are always many people and traffic, especially during rush hour.

Do you have all the facilities you need close by?

Yes, we have essential shops nearby, like food stores and banks. There's also a sports center down the road.

Is it easy to get to know your neighbors?

We know our neighbors on one side, and we greet each other, but it's not a close-knit community.

Let’s talk about your future plans.

Do you have any idea of what you will be doing in ten years' time?

Not really. I'll be starting university soon, and the next few years will be focused on studying. After that, I haven't made any firm career plans.

Do you like to make plans for the future?

Not really. I think there's a time for planning when you're older and have more responsibility. For now, I'd like to see what happens.

Are there any big changes about to take place in your life?

University will be a significant change. Moving away from my parents, I'll be independent for the first time, which makes me excited and a little nervous.

PART – 2 CUE CARD

Describe a person who has had a big influence on you.

You should say:

– who this person was – when you met the person – what the person was like – what the person did that made them so significant in your life

SAMPLE ANSWER

This is a challenging question as there isn't anyone who stands out, except for my parents. But there was a teacher at secondary school. Mrs. Thomas, who taught me art, positively influenced me. I lost interest in school around thirteen, focusing more on music and sports. Mrs. Thomas made an effort to get me back on track. She insisted I sit at the front, stopping my distractions. She was kind and supportive, helping me focus on my studies. While it's not solely attributed to her, Mrs. Thomas played a role in my success.

PART – 3 FOLLOW-UPS

People often say teachers had the biggest impact on their outlook on life. Why might this be?

Classrooms provide a space to discuss issues like politics and the environment. Teachers usually share interesting perspectives. If you respect your teacher, you're likely to take on board some of the things they say.

In which ways can other people inspire or motivate us?

High-profile people like sports figures can have a big impact, but local people, doing good things in the community, can be even more motivating because they are ordinary people.

Who tends to be positive role models, family members, or media figures?

Family members, especially parents, are the most important role models. They set examples of how to behave and treat others, influencing our habits. Media figures have an impact, but not as much as family.

Which historical figures do you think have had the most positive influence on the generations that came after them?

Recent leaders like Gandhi, who believed in peaceful protest, may have had a positive influence on future generations.

Do people in the public eye have a responsibility to be good role models?

There are different views on this. Some believe those in the media spotlight, especially with a young fan base, should act responsibly. Others argue that everyone, including celebrities, needs to be a good role model.
